Randall Tobias has been named to the board of directors of Agilent Technologies, the spin-off of Hewlett-Packard's test, measurement, and electronic components groups. Tobias, 57, is former chief executive and now chairman emeritus of Eli Lilly and Company and also is a director of Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Knight-Ridder, and Phillips Petroleum Other members of the Agilent board include Agilent CEO Ned Barhnolt, Gerald Grinstein, Thomas E. Everhart, David Lawrence, and Walter B. Hewlett.
