Short Take: TI bails out of joint Thai venture

Texas Instruments and Thai electronics entrepreneur Charn Uswachoke terminated their joint-venture agreements involving Alpha-TI Semiconductors and Alpha Memory. TI cited the Thai economy and Uswachoke's own financial health in its decision to pull out of the agreements; Uswachoke will purchase TI's shares in the joint ventures.
