Short Take: Three more newspaper chains join Net's Classified Ventures

Three newspaper chains have joined online ad network Classified Ventures. With the addition of Central Newspapers Incorporated, the Gannett Company, and the McClatchy Company, the network now has the resources of 135 newspapers and reaches 42 states with its auto, apartment, and real estate listings, the firm said. Classified Ventures operates Apartments.com and Cars.com.
