Short Take: The Standard names new publisher
The Industry Standard, a weekly magazine of International Data Group, has named Steve Thompson as publisher and promoted Cheryl Lucanegro to associate publisher. Thompson, formerly Inc. advertising director and Playboy sales director, replaces John Battelle as publisher. Battelle will retain his role as president of The Standard.
