The Industry Standard says that it has dismissed 36 employees, or 7 percent of its staff, as a restructuring measure. The company named several new top managers, including Chris Patelis, former chief operating officer, as president. Ann-Marie McGowan, former executive vice president, will take over his position. The company also tapped John Loomis, a principle of The CTO Group, as chief technology and information officer. The layoffs were focused on marketing and online Web services.
