Texas Instruments has entered an agreement to purchase certain assets of Oasix and Arisix, both digital integrated circuit design centers for hard disk drive products. The acquisitions will complement TI's existing mass storage capabilities at its California-based subsidiary, Silicon Systems, part of its Storage Products Group.
