Short Take: Teligent expands into four new markets

Teligent, a wireless microwave "local loop" provider, has launched its service in four new markets bringing its total of metropolitan areas served to 23. Teligent, which offers wireless phone and Internet access services to small and mid-sized businesses, now services Richmond, Virginia, West Palm Beach, Florida, Baltimore, and Milwaukee. Teligent plans to offer service in 40 markets by the end of the year.
