Talk City confirmed today that it laid off 35 workers--15 percent of its staff--on Tuesday. A spokesman for the Campbell, Calif.-based online communities site said the layoffs were part of a corporate restructuring. With the changes, Talk City plans to be profitable by the fourth quarter of next year, the representative said.
