Short Take: Sun's frame relay software for SPARCs

Sun Microsystems announced a version of its Solstice Frame Relay connectivity software for networks running the Solaris Unix operating system on SPARC or Intel-based systems. The software provides permanent LAN to WAN connections as well as dedicated lines to the Internet. A server running the software can also route IP traffic at high speeds without additional hardware. Solstice Frame Relay 2.0.1 is available now and is priced at $1,295.
