Sun Microsystems is recruiting service providers, businesses, schools and systems integrators to use its free StarOffice suite of software. Sun recently bought StarOffice, which includes word processing and spreadsheet software, that runs on central servers and can be accessed via the Web by desktop users. Sun said more than 50 companies are using StarOffice, including TurboLinux, VA Linux Systems and Caldera Systems.
