Short Take: STB acquires Symmetric

Multimedia accelerator provider STB Systems acquired Symmetric Simulation Systems, a designer and builder of 3D graphics acceleration technology. Symmetric will become STB's wholly owned subsidiary. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
