Short Take: Sony readies new CD-RW drives

Sony Electronics announced two new Spressa CD-Rewritable drives with speeds of 12X maximum write, 8X maximum rewrite and 32X maximum playback. The internal Spressa Professional ATAPI drive will be available next month at a list price of $299. The external Spressa i.LINK drive will be available in September, priced at $399.
