Sony Electronics introduced its TriniCom Mini 1000 videoconferencing system. The plug-and-play system includes a motion-sensitive, object-tracking camera that can follow a meeting participant, and has a 120-degree field of view, a 12-to-1 pan/tilt/zoom capability, and a 20-inch (measured diagonally) high-resolution screen that can display both images and data. The system is priced at $6995.
