Short Take: Software makers team on outdoor product exchange

E-commerce software maker Sterling Commerce and Commerce One, a business-to-business software provider, announced a partnership with eOutdoors to create the Worldwide Outdoor Products Exchange. The exchange will be an online marketplace for outdoor products and services with an information portal for outdoor enthusiasts. Available by the end of this year, the outdoor exchange will provide merchants with procurement and online auction technology and services.
