Short Take: Snap to offer volunteer information

Portal Snap plans to team up with ImpactOnline's VolunteerMatch, a Web service that matches community volunteers with nonprofit organizations. Under the deal, Snap will feature a Volunteer Opportunities link in its Local Centers content channel where users can find information about volunteer opportunities. Snap is a joint venture between CNET: The Computer Network, publisher of News.com, and NBC.
