Short Take: Small firms urged to take Y2K action

Dell, the Small Business Administration, and Microsoft are urging small businesses to take action in tackling the Y2K problem by holding an online technology seminar. The seminar aims to help small businesses learn how to evaluate whether their partners and suppliers are Y2K ready. The National Federation of Independent Businesses estimates that nearly one-third of the small-business world is not taking action to address the computer glitch.
