Short Take: Sigma announces lower net income, sales

Sigma Circuits of Santa Clara, California announced a net income of $273,000, or 6 cents per share, for the second quarter ending December 31. That's down from a net income of $1.1 million, 24 cents a share, last year. Net sales were $19.9 million, a decrease of 25.4 percent from $26.7 million for the same quarter last year. The decline is attributed to a slowdown in demand for the printed circuit board (PCB) business in 1996.
