Short Take: Siebel, Lucent team on CRM products

Siebel and Lucent said they will jointly sell and market their integrated CRM products. Lucent will combine its work management software, computer telephony applications, professional services, and voice response products with Siebel's Web-based front office applications. They will first integrate Siebel's call center with Lucent's telephony software, which will help call center agents deliver better service by having access to business and customer information at their desktop and allowing them to control their telephone through their PCs, the two companies said.
