Short Take: Senate may debate Internet Tax Freedom Act

The Internet Tax Freedom Act could come up for Senate debate Wednesday. Last week, online privacy protections for children and requirements to put government documents on the Net were added to the bill. Two more controversial provisions also could be added: Sen. Dan Coats's (R-Indiana) legislation, the so-called CDA II, to limit minors' access to adult content on the Net, and another that would repeal a domain name tax.
