Santa Cruz Operation, a supplier of Unix systems and NC software, warned that its first-quarter results will fall below analysts' expectations. The company said its revenues will come in between $47.5 million and $50 million, with earnings falling in the range of 2 cents and 5 cents a share. Analysts had expected SCO to report profits of 11 cents, according to First Call. The company will announce its results January 27.
