Short Take: SAFE safely through House subcommittee

Clearing yet another hurdle, the Security and Freedom through Encryption Act bill to relax encryption export regulations has been approved by a House subcommittee. SAFE will now go before the full International Relations Committee for possible revisions and a vote.
