Short Take: Rockwell licenses ARM's technology

Rockwell Semiconductor Systems has licensed ARM's RISC microprocessor technology. Rockwell will incorporate ARM's high-performance, low-power RISC CPU cores into its semiconductor systems and will build upon the core processors, adding application-specific logic and serial interfaces. The first ARM-based products will be 56-kbps digital modem devices used by ISPs.
