Short Take: Reuters updates video library

Internet video indexing company Virage says news agency Reuters is offering a new version of its video library that uses Virage's video indexing and search software, VideoLogger and AudioLogger. Virage's technology uses an index built around visual thumbnail clips of footage delivered on a CD instead of plain text descriptions of the footage. Reuters' video collection contains footage dating back to 1896.
