Quarterdeck introduced Remove-It 98, a hard drive cleanup application for PC owners upgrading to Windows 98. Such programs are proliferating with news of Windows 98 upgrade glitches. The successor to the company's original Remove-It program for Windows 95 clears unnecessary legacy files to ensure a clean upgrade and monitors the hard drive after Windows 98 installation for hard drive clutter, Quarterdeck said. Remove-It 98 will retail for $19.95.
