Short Take: Quadbase announces Web-ready charts in Java

Quadbase Systems today announced the release of CyberChart, an interactive Wysiwyg Web tool for producing Web-ready charts using a Java-enabled Web browser. Data for the charts can be generated directly from databases, and the charts are updated automatically as information on the database changes. The charts can be saved in two interactive formats as well as in the standard static formats, such as GIF and BMP, allowing charts to be posted on Web pages and viewed interactively. Viewers can query data points and navigate around the chart in real time. The Chart Designer component is written in Java and runs as an applet in any Web browser.
