Short Take: PSINet acquires Spanish ISPs

Internet services company PSINet has acquired privately-held Spanish ISPs Intercomputer and Abaforum for undisclosed sums. Intercomputer offers electronic banking services to more than 50,000 customers and Abaforum, a business-focused ISP, serves 3,000 customers. PSINet believes it is the second-largest corporate ISP in the growing Spanish market following the deals.
