Short Take: PlanetOut provides movie channel

PlanetOut, a gay and lesbian Internet site that also has a presence on America Online, is providing gay and lesbian film buffs with an alternative movie channel--on the Internet. PlanetOut today rolled out the virtual red carpet for the premiere of PopcornQ's Cinema Online, the Web's first art house specializing in gay and lesbian cinema. The site features film clips and trailers from dozens of gay-themed films.
