Short Take: Pets.com launches newly designed site

Pets.com has relaunched its site, adding new products and providing new shopping tools. Initially launched last November with approximately 5,000 products, Pets.com has added 8,000 more products in the last six weeks, including pet food and kitty litter. As part of the site redesign, customers can now sign up for a customized newsletter from Pets.com, as well as store multiple credit cards and shipping addresses on the site. In June, the company opened a distribution warehouse in San Francisco.
