Short Take: Patent dispute goes to trial

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California ordered a long-standing patent dispute between Lexar Media and SanDisk, both of which make "flash card" memory add-ons, be brought to trial. SanDisk claims Lexar infringed on one of its key patents.
