Panasonic Personal Computer upgraded the components of its "ruggedized" notebook, designed with a special magnesium casing and other features to withstand industrial use. The CF-25 family comes with a 166-MHz Pentium MMX chip, a 2.2GB hard drive, 32MB of memory, and an anti-reflective active-matrix screen. With a 10.4-inch screen, the system costs $4,399; with a 12.1-inch screen, it goes for $5,399.
