Short Take: Pacific Century Group teams with Intel

Intel said it is teaming up with the Hong Kong-based Pacific Century Group to explore the possibility of delivering broadband data services in the Asia-Pacific region, according to Reuters. Under the arrangement Intel would use Pacific Century's experience in satellite and broadband development to create a new company, which will be called Pacific Convergence Corporation. The article did not say when the new company might put its service on the market.
