Oxygen Media will acquire Girls On, a Web site that provides women's perspectives on TV, movies, music, and books. Girls On's four channels--Girls on Film, Girls on TV, Girls on Music, and Girls on Books--are aimed at women aged 18 through 34, one of Oxygen's target audiences. The acquisition will extend Oxygen's presence in the entertainment area and complement the sites comprising the Oxygen online network.
