Short Take: Organic appoints new exec
Organic Online has appointed Margaret Maxwell Zagel vice president and chief legal and administrative officer. In the newly created position, Zagel will be responsible for all of Organic's legal affairs, such as providing counsel in SEC and Internet regulatory matters. Prior to joining Organic, Zagel served as general counsel and secretary of Tellabs Operations, a telecommunications company, the Web services firm said. In November, Organic announced plans to go public.
