Short Take: Oracle, others team on ASP venture
Oracle Italy, Fiat Services Group and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young have teamed to launch eSpin, a new Italy-based venture that will provide Internet business applications and consulting services to emerging companies. Oracle, which will hold a 10 percent equity stake in the new venture, is the application service provider (ASP) for eSpin, providing both the applications and the consulting and hosting services.
