Oracle today announced that Michael Capellas has been named senior vice president of Oracle Energy, an oracle subsidiary that manages the information needs of upstream and downstream energy companies Capellas, who spent the majority of his career at Schlumberger, an oil field services delivery company, will have responsibility for Oracle's business in the energy industry as its sales and services leader worldwide.
