Short Take: On2.com to launch broadband site

On2.com is expected to launch a network of Web sites for broadband users. The company, which builds software for streaming video, will initially offer music, travel, and college and university content for Net users with high-speed connections. Much like Comcast Online's OnBroadband.com and other high-speed-only portals, On2.com expects to raise money via advertising and, eventually, by licensing its video software.
