Short Take: Olympus to release a 4 million pixel digital camera

Olympus says it will introduce the first 4 million pixel digital camera, the Camedia E-10. The company plans to begin selling the cameras in October for $1,999, marketing them to professional photographers. With 4 million pixels, or 4 megapixels, the Camedia E-10 will be Olympus' most powerful SLR digital camera. "The E-10 is designed to be the new flagship of the Olympus filmless digital camera product line," said John Knaur, a digital product manager at Olympus.
