Short Take: Office Depot sparks deal with Netscape

Office Depot today announced a one-year marketing agreement with Netscape for its site to be featured prominently on the popular search service. The leading U.S. office retailer will be spotlighted in the small-business sections of Netscape, an AOL subsidiary. As part of an existing agreement with AOL, Netscape Netcenter users will also have access to Officedepot.com from the Shop@netscape site within the Netscape shopping channel.
