Short Take: Oblix gets funding, new board members

Oblix, a provider of directory-based intranet applications, announced that it has received investments from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and the KPCB Java Fund totaling $3 million. The company also announced that William R. Hearst III, a KPCB partner; Todd Rulon-Miller, a former senior VP at Netscape; and Milo Medin, a founder of @Home, have joined its board of directors.
