Short Take: NT for Unix Add-On in second beta

Microsoft announced it has released a second beta version of its Windows NT Services for Unix Add-On Pack, an add-on to the operating system that allows the software to interoperate with various flavors of Unix. Features include resource sharing, remote administration, password synchronization, and common scripting. The test version is available on the company's Web site.
