Short Take: NSI hit by outage

Network Solutions suffered a registration outage yesterday that lasted several hours, but the problem has been fixed, according to spokeswoman Cheryl Regan. The outage prevented an unknown number of consumers from buying Net names directly from NSI but didn't affect its channel partners or competing registrars, the company said.
