Short Take: Novell tweaks NewWare option
Network software provider Novell announced the roll out of a beta version of an updated option for its NetWare operating system that allows the company?s software to tie into high-end mainframe systems from IBM. The new NetWare for SAA 4.0 version, developed by Big Blue in conjunction with Novell, includes support for version 5.0 of NetWare and tighter integration with Novell?s Directory Services, or NDS. The software is currently in open beta and can be ordered via Novell?s Web site.
