Short Take: Newbridge Networks announces fourth quarter, year results

Newbridge Networks reported a net loss of $30 million, or 17 cents per share, for the fourth quarter ended April 30. The company reported revenue of $441 million, up from $272 million for the same quarter a year ago. For the year, the company reported a profit of $157 million, or 91 cents per share, on revenue of $1.38 billion. That's down from $203 million for last year. Figures are in Canadian dollars.
