Short Take: New role for former Disney exec

Former Disney Online president Richard Wolpert has been named partner at investment firm The Yucaipa Companies. As reported before the official announcement, Wolpert will oversee the firm's Internet ventures, including an e-commerce site slated for launch this year. Wolpert left Disney in July for undisclosed reasons, becoming one in a string of departures after Disney inked a deal to acquire 43 percent of Infoseek.
