Short Take: Network Associates closes TIS acquisition

Network Associates has completed its acquisition of firewall firm Trusted Information Systems. TIS products, including its Gauntlet firewall, now will be available as part of Network Associates' Net Tools Secure suite. The company's security products range from firewalls to encryption, authentication, intrusion-detection, antivirus protection, and a security management console.
