Short Take: Netopia inks DSL deal with Covad

Equipment provider Netopia announced a 14-month agreement to supply routing devices based on digital subscriber line (DSL) technology to service provider Covad Communications. Netopia's equipment will be used to connect customers at their sites. Covad also certified Netopia's equipment for use within its network, which now offers DSL services in 51 metropolitan areas in the United States.
