Short Take: Netcenter surpasses 7 million members

Netscape Communications announced that its Netcenter portal site added 750,000 registrations last month, bringing the total number to more than 7 million. The announcement comes two months after Netscape launched a redesigned Netcenter that more closely resembles other portals currently dominating the space.
