Internet search company StreamSearch has reorganized and laid off about 70 percent its staff, according to its director of marketing, Amye Mueller. The St. Louis-based company has dropped to 40 employees from a 130-member staff because the company was unable to secure a new round of financing, Mueller said. With the reorganization, StreamSearch will focus on key projects that include its search-and-play technology and special channel development projects, such as the Sundance Online Film Festival.
