Short Take: Nader to hold conference on Microsoft's alleged tactics

Consumer advocate Ralph Nader denounced what he labeled Microsoft's "intimidating tactics" and announced he will convene a conference in November that will discuss monopolistic practices carried out by the software giant. Participants at the two-day conference include Sun Microsystems chief executive Scott McNealy, Netscape Communications general counsel Roberta Katz, and former Federal Trade Commissioner Christine Varney. Nader said he has outstanding invitations to Microsoft CEO Bill Gates and Vice President Al Gore.
