Short Take: MS updates WBEM beta

Microsoft announced that a second beta version of a software developer's kit for the Web-based Enterprise Management (WBEM) specification is now available for download. The software allows developers to write applications that can tie into Web-based management interfaces. The kit is another step in a process initiated by Microsoft and several other companies to address the need for a standard for management software on the Web.
